Bret B. Ford, PLA
I have had a passion for helping clients realize their land development goals for over 20 years. In those years, the regulatory and permitting environment within local, state, and federal jurisdictions has become increasingly complex and burdensome for both new and veteran developers alike. With a diverse range of experience in both residential and commercial private-sector projects, combined with a local network of contacts and relationships within the metro Atlanta area, I am able to bring my knowledge and expertise to help navigate your next project through those often-challenging permitting requirements.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, I spent several years working for local companies within the metro Atlanta area, filling various roles from Drafter/Designer to Senior Project Manager. While FLA was formed in 2013 as a part-time venture following the Great Recession, demand picked-up enough by 2020 for me to resign from my management position with a small engineering company and focus on growing new and existing relationships.
In my spare time, I enjoy RV camping, ATV riding, hiking with my dog, and working in the yard.
